About Us
History
Kids Are Kids! was
developed to offer families a holistic service as an alternative
to government therapy services. Following our official opening in
1997, Kids Are Kids! has grown steadily and now provides a wide
range of services and sponsored programs.
The Founders
Philosophy
Kids Are Kids! was
created to meet the educational and therapy needs of any child and
their family. We believe that our integrated, holistic and family
centred program is most effective in that each family benefits
from the expertise of staff across a range of disciplines.
Staff
All staff employed at
Kids Are Kids are specialised in paediatrics and have had
extensive experience working with children who have a range of
difficulties and disabilities. We all strive to provide children
with access to a caring and stimulating learning environment.
Non-Profit
Status
Kids Are Kids! is an
incorporated, not for profit organisation. We are governed by a
constitution and a board of management. All monies received
contribute to the running costs and development of the
organisation. No individuals personally profit from Kids Are Kids!
Fees
Kids Are Kids! is
committed to minimising the cost to families. While many of our
services are supported financially through a range of sources
including Disability Services Commission and private
organisations, some of our services do not attract this support
and therefore require fees. Fees for services are available on
request.
